Hi! I’m Meghan. I’m excited to work with you.
If you've ever...
gone to the ortho for back pain, been handed a sheet of exercises you're apparently supposed to do every day forever, and not one of them looks anything like picking up the 40-pound bag of mulch you need to move to the other side of your garden
been told not to lift anything heavier than 25 pounds for the rest of your pregnancy (your sleeping toddler did not get the memo)
heard from an influencer that your hypermobile joints mean no heavy lifting, but also that you need to lift heavy for your bones, but nobody will tell you what "heavy" actually means, and every time you try, you're too sore to move the next day
walked into the free weight area at the "regular" gym, taken one look, and walked right back out
had a lot of fun things you want to do as you age, and realized a broken hip would really eat into that bucket list
been really, really tired of juggling a billion specialist visits, work meetings, and personal obligations, with no idea how you're supposed to fit another "thing" into your brain and your life (let alone a workout)
...you're my people.
Strength for humans with bodies that have been through something.
My coaching combines smart program design, education, and a whole-person approach to movement and wellness. In every session, I'm paying attention to how you're showing up that day: how you breathe, how you load, and what you're not saying as much as what you are.
My approach is also trauma-informed. Everyone walks in with a different body, history, and lived experience, and not everyone has felt safe or welcome in fitness spaces, or even in healthcare. With me, you'll always have a say in what we do and why. You're welcome to ask questions, say no, or take things at your own pace.
I want you to understand the "why," not just follow instructions. I'm also here to help cut through the conflicting information that makes fitness so overwhelming. Getting sustainably strong, understanding how your body responds to movement, and knowing how to navigate the world of fitness and wellness is one of the most powerful things you can do for your long-term health, at every age and chapter of life.
I do my best work with people who've been through something significant: a surgery, a chronic illness diagnosis, or an injury that changed their day-to-day. Maybe you've been told you need to start exercising, or you want to get back to it but have no idea where to begin or how to make movement work with your body. I collaborate closely with local physical therapists, so you're supported both during and after PT.
My specialties include pelvic health (pregnancy, postpartum, pelvic pain, and everything in between), hypermobility and EDS, older adults, and anyone who's been told they're fragile and wants to get strong.
When I'm not at the studio, you'll probably find me in my garden, adventuring with my husband Angel, or wrangling our dog Lulu and cat Pickle.
My qualifications:
Active Life Professional (AL-P)
Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant*
NSCA - Certified Personal Trainer
Girls Gone Strong: Pre- & Post-Natal Coaching Certification
Precision Nutrition Level 1
*A note on my scope: while I'm a licensed PTA, my work at Latitude is strength coaching, not physical therapy. I don't diagnose or treat medical conditions. My clinical background and knowledge shape how I coach, and I'm glad to work alongside your physical therapist or healthcare provider so your training supports your care. If something comes up that needs medical attention, I'll point you to the right person.
Why “Latitude”?
Latitude is the space we have to move: the room to adapt, explore, grow, and meet life where we are. That idea is at the heart of how I approach strength.
A stronger body isn't about aesthetics or weight on the bar. It's about building the capacity to do more of what matters to you: to move with confidence, meet challenges with resilience, and feel at home in your body as your life changes. Strength gives you more possibilities within the life you already have.
The name comes from a simple belief: strength creates room.
Room to move.
Room to grow.
Room for possibility.
Training here is individualized and thoughtful. It meets you where you are, challenges you appropriately, and helps you become more capable over time. Everyday movement gets easier, meaningful goals feel within reach, and life's changing seasons feel a little easier to navigate.
Latitude: a stronger body for a more expansive life.
What’s different about my approach?
I teach the "why." You won't just follow a program. You'll understand how your body responds to movement, so you can make good choices on your own.
I coach the whole person. Exercise is only one piece of feeling well. We'll also talk about sleep, nutrition, hydration, recovery, and stress, because they all shape how you feel, how you recover, and how much progress you make.
I work with your care team. I collaborate closely with local physical therapists, PCPs, surgeons, and other specialists, so your training supports your care at all stages of life.
A space that feels like yours. No crowded floor, no waiting for equipment, no strangers watching. It’s a private studio where you can ask the “dumb” question, have an off day, or laugh until you can’t breathe.
“Meghan is supportive, compassionate, and kind. She helps you build confidence in movements that feel ‘scary’ and takes the time to help you work through the mental blocks behind them. She was instrumental in my pre and post surgery recovery, and it made a huge difference. She has given me the tools and confidence to navigate the gym and a workout, something I never thought I would obtain.” - Bronwyn
